What about bigger jobs?
Whole-home WiFi, a smart-home addition or a website gets a fixed quote up front. You approve the number before anything starts.
Can you just advise?
Yes. An hour of advice about what to buy, or whether something's worth fixing, is often the cheapest thing I can sell you.
